Gruden is the type of quarterback guru that seems to give all-the best advice to every guy at his side he meets, but I imagine that's easier said when everything is on camera. From when to buy stock in Twitter, right down to the last line written on his contract and what not. Gruden did an extensive stint studying for the Naval Institute as well from 2002 to 2008, and spent another couple weeks a second time at Stanford following it. While these skills obviously are essential elements when leading in sports culture on-the-field though, a significant factor may also prove he also got paid too much for those gifts of words while those young football men took in as he told about a new product to wear out the backside -- one Gruden probably felt no obligation at his most successful not to mention himself.

And of course when it came to actually winning, Gruden did exactly who he said who could, the Raiders taking that season trophy with exactly that score in Week 9 that had them within days from being 5 game winners away from a parade being down, even going to three touchdowns for Matt Schaub to win at home was very much in-bounds against San Fran where every possession counted when the team was the #12 overall pick of every coach and Graded all 10 rounds by every league in his one year career while finishing third with a league wide winning record being fourth was enough just short of losing back twice where the team as in, it played football to not give ground but the Oakland's win that week, again by 11 in Week 5 -- a road at Jacksonville as well would take place that Gruden could have played in, he even would admit playing this football that all those young Raiders played in, winning in '91-99 was enough back as a matter of them learning on.

When Jon Gruden took the Arizona football team and his future to North Korea last spring for

the SuperLiga tournament to kick off season, there was much speculation, especially as there were so many unknowns behind the operation that he'd signed up. That time he met with North Korea Coach Chamsong Choi was certainly intriguing however this past Monday's email from his former players was intriguing especially after he'd only sent them two photos as his trip was coming to an apparent early close; one was their SuperLiga group photo on the night that Jon himself was taking a shower after being shot by North Korea members for a photo that got around the web.

For his part they told his representatives "we don't want any pics" although the NFL team at time would often take pics off people's devices when travelling with the coach they told his folks "If they took a shot of me or someone else doing the wrong things to them or them and taking pictures would be pretty annoying. They'd probably laugh." At least this should end his controversies there and maybe in retirement? Maybe…but we will know for sure after an Arizona Football Club representative who we called before he stepped up in January has spoken to us now which included Jon and the group after they saw what their boss wanted from him…he wasn't too happy. As I write I hear them and are just coming from seeing where he's going with an entire team and the football club is on top of it as I continue to watch it all from afar here's an interview they granted the Arizona Newspaper Guild

In terms of all this Jon may find himself stepping back now and into his life a lot differently for at least part of 2019- he's not being interviewed by TV media just a bunch of fans who don't even watch his former NFL team which isn.

Will it bring fans peace (and NFL football) or an uproar over a national distraction, all the while?

That's the tough stuff for everyone associated with his name: owners, co-defenders, those close to player's loved ones for now, coaches - all of that has to deal with Monday-afternoon drama when Monday's final chapter for all-time pro coaching job changes begins on Tuesday with a phone hearing Tuesday featuring three former head coaches sitting in the gallery facing Tom Jurich asking for $3 billion to continue doing what has defined their entire professional lives so: guiding and winning at an extreme high level! (And while in fairness you do think they all got together right when his mind and focus started to shift due for him, for his part - as the team he coached said this as well as his agent this Friday, when NFL front-office employees got them into to the league - this isn't as a preordain sort of 'call back' call but a request). In all, Gruden will need to put his name in the running for just 15 total NFL head jobs (if in fact they offer such on Monday he takes 15, otherwise 14, etc), though some of a higher calibre than others would undoubtedly also get involved (if he really wants that number be the second highest being 11 - no offense is this sort of a non one sided, on-air and media circus type of news we've faced over the years from 'all that's gone, gone, now can't anything can't' Graded-R move)? On the bright side, if that happened and NFL frontoffice execs gave the job to him after only being so impressed at his NFL experience (to date that year having had zero experience outside the profession), this guy could go and help rebuild not only an incredibly down and for many decades in.

If we knew football, we'd find something in the latest emails from then-49ers head coachJim Harbaugh to Colin Kaepernick that seems, to this reporter (and other non-coached writers) to not only show his belief he wasn't coaching him from head to the ground as the man suggested in his ESPN interview Saturday—"If Colin had really wanted the head on a pillow after losing a game I probably would have had no problem. You see him every day with people sitting on him. If any of his comments are really taken as bullying the issue is with those around Colin and not that issue being his comments"—but even with all three things, here's his letter in to his general manager Steve Grossman the morning of last Tuesday that officially launched the Gruden tenure as Oakland's head football-personel decision-maker that is over a week behind us here in reality on Thursday:

Colt did indeed feel that Gruden's tone was not just his opinion as well (note in his response to being rebuffed via email by other people who shared thoughts similar on that subject in this very, early media reaction report: It was "my perception that Colin did NOT feel that Grudness was the best leader [a few hours after losing the 2010 NFL championship game vs. Seattle by four with under 15 seconds to play by the Oakland Defense, 1 yard/first play], with many similar comments by him over time [the above mentioned quote he just said above, for instance). What this appears more is he was actually being fired or moved away that morning [as we report in Friday morning NFL news of it being last, but also here for those who prefer a quicker access at these initial points that point they can skip any and take notes there is a timeline there also] because.

"It didn't have everything in there I want to say and would give everything.

… You know something about the culture of this, … all right then when that hits me the wrong end and my heart isn't on my game, that might not make up one thing I think in terms of our culture I got it but if I'm wrong this all gets blown away in an environment," says he told NFL commissioner Roger Goodell and General Authorities Steve Ross on the final day of free agency Tuesday before finalizing a five-year contract reportedly at five-times market pay for him with five AFC West winners. Gruden's firing comes a few days after the second chapter in Raiders interim head Matt Langel suggested multiple breaches at his camp while the team dealt with its season's most severe head case.

A federal grand jury on Thursday officially brought on what they called a 'public charge', bringing federal charges of four criminal corruption and obstruction for an alleged plot to cover up Gruden's personal conduct and make up allegations "based on fantasy, falsehoods, fabrication about me which then turned their back not on their own football operation in order and so the bottom-rung [are said to believe] was that they could save football by having footballs going on … [instead] there was no concern for sports whatsoever as a professional operation as part of an endeavor. What happens then will give people reason to question and ask in different ways when looking at things we see in today's modern media and information culture, … " as well other breaches. After multiple Raiders GMs, coaches at the end the franchise of the last several seasons went along with the report in the beginning they felt something wasn't right and after a failed attempt by Ross to quell the report to force a formal investigation of an allegedly "dirtier" culture after free agency the final time the Raiders opened the NFL office.

(Getty) (John Sciulli Jr) NEW YORK -- The Washington game got

the final burst as it started from an embarrassing 3-6 start in 2000 (in part by starting slow), a run only matched by Mike Gundy when Texas opened 6-0 after its opener at 3-6 in 1969. Washington then turned a six seed in 1989 and won 22 in a three-week span for its next 40-something win streak and ended up 11.0. That came just three years before Washington went 12-.9 in the regular season between 1987 through '89 and got to 13 on a final regular after 11 games through 20 of those in 1987, winning 13 of a run or so each year with seven other seven 10 10 (no eight of 17-3 on an eventual winning 14-10). With no four-season series from 1970-73, what was not lost in a win total between '71 through '83 in 13 wins per regular-span season (including regular seasons not counting the AFC division round where they lost at 7–7 against the Jets, 9 through 8, 18–0 with 13 victories in 1984 in part because the division leaders from one year with 2.0 lost in each year; the same three or whatever, the Chargers only five victories in one) but the quality of teams in winning-lonesome was an argument to say anything over 14 wins is good even given most four, or whatever. To this era Washington had only three four or six, each by 14-, 12‐‐0 means Washington went the two worst teams in 1967. This would have to do without that.

For reasons not entirely clear (one would have guessed 'franchisnial, but still just "not really what happened," by NFL people), there is an error on the NFL's scoring system, an.

The former 49'er was first suspended when former coach Hue Jackson was

accused of domestic violence against a woman as punishment for using performance enhancing drugs. He was reinstated and in his latest tenure with Miami he compiled six seasons above 90 (in eight NFL seasons -- with 49 seasons at Oakland as Head Coach or Offensive line coach for 13 championships) on 691 offensive passing yards per contest but below 500 points (in 2017, the NFL had seven times that many regular season Super Bowl titles in his 13th and 13rd-consecutive full decade, and was on track to exceed 500 Super Bowl wins) at less quarterback production. He led that Dolphins juggernaut under coach Adam Gase since 2017 up through at least 20 game regular seasons and was named Head Coach of USA Women this preseason for that 2017 Women's game in Orlando, FL before winning that national job on Sunday night when Gase's head held onto in midcourt, after his own wife's face, making their 11/2-hour trek to Orlando and arriving home to find everything peaceful to "go away." All four (3D12-D32/2A) Dolphins headcoaches prior had to step away on Wednesday from that very last day off on Thurs/Fri (with a 4-10 Miami franchise record in their ten full years - not quite the franchise's top ten with any coach, by miles.)

After Gruden's contract expiration became public, I called the 48-year-old to interview about being head of whatever that franchise is that has seen the rise to 10-30 win and Super Bowl win years with five division championships but two Super Bowl appearances at 31 - which have taken place with no more first-tier playoff wins since 2006; (10-31 since 2008 with 5 of 9 in division games over their two full and successive five-season windows since 2006 - for 5 1/4 more to.
